Sam Zalta celebrates the release of There Will Be Pain, There’s Beauty Here with a live show on Thursday, November 5th at ALPHAVILLE. The evening also features Grape Wayne and Mimi Pretend, making her first-ever New York appearance. The show begins at 7 p.m., with tickets priced at $10–$15.
There Will Be Pain, There’s Beauty Here documents three years of Sam Zalta’s performances with his partner Adeline, where music met physical endurance, violence, and spectacle. Looking back on the attention they drew and the questions it raised about art, validation, and the need to be heard, Zalta turns the experience into a record of its pain, love, and beauty.
There Will Be Pain, There’s Beauty Here is available music across platforms on November 6th.
