This non-regulatory coalition whose goal is to better understand and reduce the cumulative effects of acoustic and physical disturbance from large commercial vessels on Southern Resident killer whales throughout their range in Washington State (U.S.)
About the speaker
Rachel Aronson is the Program Director for Quiet Sound, an award-winning collaborative initiative administered by Washington Maritime Blue. She leads voluntary, multi-stakeholder efforts to reduce the acoustic and physical impacts of large commercial vessels on the last 76 endangered Southern Resident Killer Whales in Washington state.
