Swindon's own Sam Michael brings his acclaimed 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival Show 'The World's Oldest Man' to the Exeter Phoenix Theatre (Workshop) FRIDAY, OCT 09 as part of his 2026 Tour! What advice did the Guinness World Records’ Oldest Man give Sam Michael — and how did it change his outlook on life, health and Butlins Big Weekenders?
Forever struggling to 'live in moment' - Sam Michael takes a hilarious and nostalgic dive into his inability to 'seize the day' during youth (less 'Carpe diem' and more 'Potest donec cras' - It can wait until tomorrow!) and his poor attempts to try and 'live it up' in his late 30's!
'World's Oldest Man' is Sam Michael's debut solo show, described by Chortle as "An enjoyable hour in easy-going company" and "Cheekily self-deprecating... a nicely packaged, story, engagingly told by a natural, relaxed performer"
Sam Michael is a comedian, radio DJ and podcaster who has been described as "A master class in comedy" by BBC Bristol and "Very good, very funny" by comedy legend Dom Joly, who he has supported on various bills, along with being UK Tour opening act for the likes of Al Murray, Fiona Allen and Matt Richardson.
