Salvaged: The Christmas EditionA FULL DAY Mixed Media Workshop: 9am–4pm
Give forgotten materials a second life in this hands-on, creatively chaotic mixed-media workshop inspired by the magic of the holiday season. We’ll work with a stash of reclaimed, repurposed, and beautifully imperfect treasures—vintage book pages, worn holiday ephemera, fabric scraps, packaging, ribbon bits, and all the cozy, scrappy remnants of Christmas past. This is a space for playful experimentation, intuitive layering, and the joy of transforming discarded pieces into something warm, meaningful, and full of holiday spirit.
We’ll explore techniques for building richly textured backgrounds, creating layered collage surfaces from festive papers and packaging, and adding expressive marks with paint, ink, crayons, and more. Holiday fabrics, tags, labels, ribbons, and found elements will be woven in to create work that feels nostalgic, tactile, and full of story—like a treasured Christmas memory brought to life.
No perfection required—just curiosity, play, and a willingness to let the materials lead the way.
✨ Come ready to explore, experiment, and make something beautifully unconventional (and very merry).
YOU DON’T WANNA MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!!! These class kits will include even more festive salvaged treasures, holiday ephemera, and special Christmas surprises!
