Join the Museum of Pell City for Salute to Service: Coming Home—a morning honoring our veterans and exploring the experiences of returning to civilian life.Friday, November 6 | 10 a.m.
Pell City Municipal Complex Banquet Room
1000 Bruce Etheredge Parkway
Free and open to the community
Our keynote speaker, Jason Nunley, is a retired U.S. Air Force flight engineer and special operations veteran who served more than 16 years, including combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, he leads INPAC LLC and continues serving through veterans’ organizations and volunteer search-and-rescue aviation.
We will also premiere “Coming Home: A Son’s Battle Becomes Her Own,” sharing Michelle Tumlin’s story of her son’s military experience, his struggles with PTSD and her loss following his death by suicide. Through Houston Project, she now helps raise funds to support veterans.
Enjoy breakfast generously sponsored by Union State Bank, followed by the presentation of colors by the Pell City High School JROTC, an invocation and our program. Guests are invited to visit the museum afterward.
Please RSVP by November 1 to Erica Grieve at 256-453-1383 or [email protected].
We hope you will join us as we honor service, preserve stories and strengthen our community’s support for veterans. #museumofpellcity #Veterans #SaluteToService
