🎉 SON Y SOUL – A Salsa & Soul Fusion CelebrationHosted by Karen Salsa McQuire & Her Hubby T “A Joint 60th Birthday Celebration”
THE VIBE:
For one special night, we're trading the usual Salsa social for something completely different.
Our celebration of 60 years well-lived, and the music that brought two hearts together.
Salsa meets Soul, Clave meets groove.
Fire meets feeling.
THE FLOOR PLAN
We know our salsa familia needs their fix, so here's the deal all night long:
🔥 3 salsa tracks (hard-hitting salsa dura, romantica, Son, Mambo and timba bangers)
🎤 followed by 1 soul track (Motown, Philly soul, and funk classics)
That rhythm repeats all night, so everyone gets their moment on the floor.
No one sits down for long!
THE DREAM TEAM ON DECKS:
🎧 DJ RIZO and DJ SMOOTH Bringing the fire with the Latin heat you know and love but also Serving up the Motown gold and soulful grooves.
These two are a proper team and each time they bring the heat 🔥🔥🔥
they'll be tag-teaming, handovering, and mixing it up until the final track.
Expect a few crossover surprises where the horns and the beat collide into pure magic.
