🚌 PARKING & FREE EVENT SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Parking at Carkeek Park is extremely limited, especially during popular events like Salmon Celebration Day. We strongly encourage visitors to take public transportation, carpool, or use our FREE event shuttle.
Neighborhood parking is available behind QFC and at Viewlands Elementary School. The free shuttle will run between the following locations:
• Cedar City Tree Care Facility (across from the QFC parking area)
• Viewlands Elementary School
• Carkeek Park Salmon Celebration Day
The shuttle will operate from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM, arriving at each stop approximately every 20–25 minutes.
Several Metro bus routes also serve the area, making public transportation another great option.
Prefer to walk? Visitors can also park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk into the park along Piper's Creek Trail through the Macabee Entrance behind QFC. The walk down to the creek is beautiful and is part of the experience!
