Independence, Inc. and OCCK Inc. in Salina will be hosting Disability Mentoring Day. It will be happening in Saline and Dickinson County this year on October 21st, 2026! This annual event is designed for high school students with disabilities in Saline and Dickinson Counties to explore careers, learn about jobs, and connect with mentors through hands‑on experiences. It is part of the statewide Kansas Disability Mentoring Day initiative, sponsored by the American Association of People with Disabilities and coordinated locally! 🤩Students will explore career paths, tour jobsites to learn about jobs and hiring processes, and learn job skills 👔
