Why we flinch, freeze, and forget to ask. And what to do about it.
About this Event
Sales Club Devon is a free monthly sales workshop for founders, business owners, and anyone who sells for a living.
Session 4 is about the Rejection Reflex. The wiring in all of us that flinches at the possibility of hearing no. It's why we soften the ask. Why we don't follow up. Why we tell ourselves the prospect will come back to us in their own time.
We'll unpack:
- Why rejection feels bigger than it is
- The moments in a sale where the reflex kicks in hardest
- Practical ways to reframe the flinch so it works for you not against you
- Small language shifts that make the ask land with less friction
Session 3 was about the psychology of the follow-up. Session 4 is about the moment we ask.
Format:
- 5.00pm arrivals + drinks
- 5.30 to 7.00 workshop
- 7.00 to 7.30 wind-down, drinks nearby after
