Several local restaurants and cafes will sell halal* food. Vendors will donate at least 50% of the profits to organization supporting victims of the violence in Sudan.

Activities will include calligraphy, henna, inflatable play areas and face painting for kids.
Guests are welcome to tour the Islamic Center of East Lansing and enjoy a 'Discover Islam' poster exhibit and presentation.

The parking lot of the Islamic Center will be used for festival activities. Free parking will be available at the next-door University Lutheran Church and the University United Methodist Church.
While some vendors may be able to accept credit cards, we encourage everyone to have some cash with them.
*Halal means food conforms with Islamic law, similar to Kosher in Judaism.
**Salaam means peace in Arabic, and is used as a greeting by Muslims.
