Sakura Day is open to everyone: all ages, all whānau, all welcome!🌸
🎎 Explore & Experience
Enjoy our free Cultural Displays and wander through our lush campus and beautiful Sakura blossoms.
🎡 Games & Activities
Something for everyone! Try your luck at the Hoop Toss, brighten up with Face Painting by our students, test your skills at the E-Game and Shooting Game, or go for gold with Fishing Scoop (tickets $2 each). Strike a pose in the Photo Room. Brave souls can step into our famous spooky Haunted House (2 tickets required), and little ones can unwind with free Colouring In.
🎤 Live Performances
Head to the Rec Centre between 10:30 am and 2:40 pm for a fantastic lineup of live performances. Entry is free, so come and go as you please throughout the day.
🍜 Food & Refreshments
Bring your appetite! Our international food trucks will be serving up a variety of tasty treats including:

Prefer a sit-down meal? Head to our Dining Hall for hearty options including Japanese Beef Curry, Thai Chicken Curry, Indian Chickpea Curry (vegan), and Vegetable Fried Rice (vegetarian). Visitor lunch tickets are just $10.
🎟️ Good to Know
• Event access by GATE 3 on Pacific Drive.
• Activity tickets are available at the Information Centre. Please note activity sites don't accept cash or EFTPOS directly.
• Parent rooms and break rooms are on hand for families needing a little downtime.
• This is a smoke-free event.
• NO DOGS or SKATEBOARDS (for the safety of all).
• Rain or shine, Sakura Day will go ahead unless conditions are deemed unsafe. We'll post any updates right here on our Facebook event page.
