The Illawarra's premiere dinghy sailing event is back bigger and better in 2026 as Sail Illawarra. All classes of OTB dinghy and multi hulls are invited to join us for a fun-packed weekend of racing and social activities. What is new this year is the Dash 4 Cash time trial on Friday afternoon - and you can choose when to participate right up to 7pm. Turn up, get on the water, do the lap dash, we time it, correct the time with your yardstick and the best time wins the cash! Easy!Friday night is pizza and beers, Saturday racing, Saturday night BBQ, Sunday racing and sausage sizzle presentation.
There's breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, hamburgers for lunch and free camping at the club.
Class associations are welcome to make contact to use this as a round of a TT or their States. With enough boats, you'll get your own start. In past events we've had everything from Herons and Mirrors to foiling Moths and F18s. There's a selection of courses - triangles, windward/leeward of different length and up to 7 divisions.
