Celebrate Heritage Day with an unforgettable journey through Southern Africa’s free-reed musical landscape.
Marking a century since the first boeremusiek recordings, the birth of the legendary accordionist Nico Carstens, and the founding of the Kruger National Park in 1926, while also celebrating 40 years of the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre, the rich and diverse sounds of Mzansi come alive through traditional, world, and classical music - from the heritage rhythms of Southern Africa to the timeless elegance of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Featuring leading accordionists, concertina players, and harmonica artists in a grand jubilee celebrating our people, our pride, and our passion.
