Join us for Safety on Lark Street: Resource Conversation and GuideWe're bringing together our local outreach organizations and law enforcement to connect and better coordinate our efforts.
Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Lark Hall (351 Hudson Ave, Albany, NY)
5:00-5:30pm Informational Tabling
5:30-6:30pm Panel Discussion
The Lark Street BID, Albany Common Councilmember Deirdre Brodie, and Albany County Legislator Susan Pedo are excited to host the Albany Police Department's Neighborhood Engagement Unit and CART teams, the Albany County Department of Mental Health, and Albany Navigates for a half hour tabling session followed by a panel discussion. This event will focus on empowering local residents and business owners with the knowledge of who to contact, when, and how as any safety-related concerns arise in the Lark Street area.
We'll focus specifically on the Lark Street district but all are welcome to join us in the spirit of mutual respect and constructive, productive dialogue. We recognize that achieving neighborhood safety is a collaboration between all community stakeholders. We hope this will be part of an ongoing discussion about how we collectively care for one another and achieve better outcomes.
