Do you work directly with people, either one-to-one or in group settings? This essential Safeguarding Group B Training will help you understand your responsibilities, recognise signs of abuse and neglect, and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
What You'll Learn:
- Understanding safeguarding legislation, policies and professional responsibilities.
- Recognising signs, indicators and risk factors associated with abuse, harm and neglect.
- Understanding grooming, coercive control and other harmful behaviours.
- Working in a person-centred way that promotes rights, wellbeing and safety.
- Knowing how, when and where to report safeguarding concerns.
- Recording concerns accurately and maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Understanding whistleblowing procedures and professional accountability.
