The Joplin Women's Horton Smith Team is excited to host a fundraising event on Saturday, November 14, 6:00-9:00 at The Main Event Center 611 S. Main in Joplin. The event will feature a catered dinner by Club 609, a hosted bar, and a fun Sadie Hawkinstheme.
This fundraiser aims to support our ladies and junior golfers by helping cover essential expenses such as green fees, cart fees, lunch, hotel stays, and team shirts. It is the intention to get more young female golfers involved in this longstanding tradition.
We invite you to join us in celebrating 92 years of the Horton Smith tradition. Horton Smith was the first golfer from the Ozarks to achieve national success, (he won the 1st and 3rd Masters), and since then, both men’s and women’s teams have proudly competed against Springfield teams for a cherished trophy that travels back and forth between the two communities.
Join us in supporting the future of Joplin women’s and junior golf while enjoying a memorable evening of community and
competition. Your generosity makes a huge difference!
