About this Event
Your body is tired—but your mind keeps going.
You know you need rest. You may even make time to sit down, only to find yourself replaying conversations, reviewing tomorrow’s list or thinking about everything that still needs your attention.
Sacred Stillness: Quiet the Noise is not about forcing your mind to become blank or making yourself feel peaceful. It is a 90-minute, small-group restorative experience designed to help you step away from the thinking, planning and constant mental movement—and be guided into rest.
I do the setting up. You do the receiving.
Before you arrive, your individual resting space will be prepared with a mat, bolster, blocks, blanket and other supportive props. Through gentle restorative movement, intentional breath, seasonal reflection, guided stillness and sound healing, you’ll be supported in shifting your attention away from everything competing for it.
October’s experience will include a private grounding ritual designed to help you notice what steadies you as life and the season continue to change.
Sound is not simply background music during Sacred Stillness. Singing bowls and other resonant instruments are used intentionally to create a soundscape that supports relaxation and helps guide your attention away from all the thinking, planning and doing.
You do not have to create the rest. You get to receive it.
Your registration includes:
- One of only ten individually prepared restorative spaces
- A mat and supportive props
- Gentle restorative stretching and supported movement
- Guided breathwork and nervous-system grounding
- A meaningful seasonal opening ritual
- Private intention setting and reflection
- An extended live sound-healing experience
- Meditation and protected silence
- An intentional grounding close
- Space to rest without being rushed or expected to perform
Everything is invitational. You are encouraged to listen to your body and participate in the ways that feel most supportive to you.
This experience is for the woman who:
- Feels physically tired but mentally overstimulated
- Tries to rest but has difficulty turning off her thoughts
- Has been thinking, planning or problem-solving for everyone
- Wants somewhere she does not have to remain alert or available
- Needs help transitioning from constant doing into rest
- Simply wants an intentional evening to breathe, soften and reset
You will not be asked to share personal details or explain what you are carrying. Sacred Stillness allows you to feel connected to the women around you while honoring your need for quiet and privacy.
Come exactly as you are.
You do not need to be flexible, and you do not need experience with yoga, meditation or sound healing. You also do not need to arrive already feeling peaceful.
This is not a traditional yoga class. There are no complicated sequences, expectations to perform or requirements to achieve a particular pose.
You may sit, lie down, use supportive props, modify movement or simply rest when your body asks for it.
Nothing to prepare.
Nothing to figure out.
No forced sharing.
Your resting space will be waiting for you.
You’ve been doing enough. Come be still.
Slow down. Breathe deep. Return to yourself.
