Dance Temple Squamish presents an evening of ecstatic dance, live music & a shamanic sound journey.
Join us for a special evening as we welcome a few incredible guests into the Temple for a potent and medicinal journey through rhythm, movement, live music, and sound.
SOULar Sound will guide us through an extended dance journey, woven together with live violin from Michael Fraser and percussion and vocals from Anki Coyolotl. We’ll move from the rhythm of the dance floor into stillness, closing the musical journey with a Shamanic Sound Journey led by Gin Perry.

SOULar sound aka Bretton (he/him) brings unique, diverse, and intricate balance to his sets. Expect a worldly instrumental journey with warm inviting vocals and groovy, hip moving beats. As a devoted dancer and lover of music, he thrives on creating his flow from the dancers themselves and the intention of the space. Get ready to move your body and root down to the earth with his rhythmic, tribal, and spacious sounds.
Michael Fraser — Violin

Michael is a medicine music artist with a background in genres such as classical, folk, jazz, and beyond. After touring the world for over 2 decades in bands and as a DJing violinist, Michael devoted the next chapter of his life to providing music for healing circles. Using his connection with a wide range of musical stylistings in tandem with channeling soundscapes, harmonies, voices, and rhythms, Michael's approach to music is based on an intuitive sensitivity to the feeling his sounds evoke.
Michael's heart centered beingness supports his community's process not only through his music but also heartful integration support and energy harmonizing. His deepest intention is to be a channel for leaving the world a better and more healed place for generations to come.
Anki Coyolotl — Percussion & Vocals

Anki Coyolotl is a student of Toltecayotl , a bridge between Indigenous nations and the modern world, sharing ancestral wisdom through music, art, and ceremony. He has walked with the sacred medicines of Mother Earth since age 15 , server as a sound therapist and ceremonial guide with Cacao, Teonanácatl (sacred mushrooms), Bufo alvarius and sacred tobacco. Pipe Carrier blessed by an Indigenous elder in Canada and initiated by Ki-Shuar leader to serve liquid tabaco and wuayusa. founder of an organization to uplift Indigenous cultures , a humble student and ally to elders, First Nations, and medicine carriers he serve.
Gin Perry — Shamanic Sound Journey
Squamish, BC
Gin Perry is a multifaceted, multidisciplinary artist and facilitator. Owner of Shala yoga in Squamish, she is a teacher, trainer, a ceremonialist and a musician who engages in shamanic arts.
As a student of Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound, she is deeply inspired by and curious about how sound and vibration creates and shapes our experiences.
