This is a different kind of women’s circle. Created for women who want the comfort of being in community without the pressure to interact.About this Event
Sacred Rest - An Intimate Women's Circle
What if, for one hour, nothing was required of you?
No need to achieve.
No need to perform.
No pressure to socialise or share.
No need to take care of anyone else.
Just permission to stop.
Sacred Rest is A Different Kind of Women’s Circle
Perhaps you love the idea of gathering with other women, but the thought of being expected to introduce yourself, share something deeply personal or participate in group activities has always made you hesitate.
Sacred Rest was created with you in mind.
This is a quiet, non-performative women’s rest circle, a carefully facilitated 60-minute wellbeing experience exploring rest, boundaries and our relationship with always doing.
There is no forced vulnerability.
No expectation to share.
No pressure to make conversation.
No need to arrive with anything profound to say.
Silence is participation too.
Created as a softer alternative to high-energy wellness spaces, Sacred Rest offers the warmth of being alongside other women while allowing you to retain your own space within the experience.
What to expect
We begin by slowing down together.
You’ll be guided through a gentle grounding practice, followed by warming herbal tea and a private journaling ritual exploring what you might be ready to put down, even temporarily.
There will be an invitation to share within the circle, but sharing is entirely optional. You can speak. You can listen. You can journal quietly. You can simply be.
Nothing you write needs to be shared.
And then… we stop.
Settle beneath your blanket, close your eyes if that feels comfortable, and allow yourself to receive as crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gong, chimes and other gentle therapeutic sounds create an immersive landscape for rest and relaxation.
We’ll finish slowly, with time for stillness and a gentle return before closing our circle together.
This experience may be for you if…
You spend much of your life doing, giving or caring for others.
You find it difficult to give yourself permission to stop.
You crave connection but also value your personal space.
You’ve been curious about women’s circles but have felt uncomfortable with the expectation to share or be vulnerable.
You prefer quieter, smaller and more intentional wellbeing experiences.
Or perhaps you simply need an hour in which nobody needs anything from you.
No previous experience of women’s circles, meditation or sound baths is needed.
Everything offered during Sacred Rest is an invitation. You can participate, pass, remain quiet, keep your eyes open, change position or simply listen.
You don’t need to give anything of yourself to belong in this space.
You are allowed simply to receive.
Come as you are.
For this hour, you have permission to stop.

Important Considerations
Sound baths are safe for most people. The therapeutic sound waves can lead to a deeply meditative state, often creating a sense of calm, peace, and a greater connection to your inner self.
However, sound baths may not be suitable if you have any of the following conditions: Pacemaker or heart disease, Metal implants, epilepsy (especially sound-induced), Tinnitus, Vertigo or Ménière’s disease, First trimester of pregnancy, Spinal cord injury (SCI)
If you are a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), you may wish to lie further away from the sound sources. Please let me know before the session begins so instruments are not played too close to you.
Before attending, if you have any concerns, please exercise your own judgement and/or consult with your GP or relevant healthcare professional.
Sound baths are not suitable for anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Please note that a sound bath is not a medical treatment and does not replace professional medical or psychological care.
