A heart opener
Slow down.
Breathe.
Feel.
Come home to yourself.
We breathe all day without thinking about it. Yet the way we breathe changes when we are rushing, holding back, bracing, thinking or simply trying to get through the day.
Sometimes the body holds what the mind has forgotten.
A shallow breath. A tight chest. A clenched jaw. A belly that never quite softens.
What if .... for a few hours, you gave yourself permission to breathe differently?
To feel the breath moving through the body. To soften around it. To let the exhale take you a little deeper.
And to do this in the presence of Cacao, held within your body.
For the 5th year, Tane Mahuta Heke returns to Malaysia to offer his sacred Cacao Ceremony, sharing his own special cacao elixir & the wisdom he carries from his Māori heritage.
Mother Cacao is a gentle plant medicine, traditionally received with reverence as a teacher & heart-opening ally. Rather than seeking to understand her with the mind, we are invited to feel
her - through the body, the breath, the heart & the subtle spaces within.
As we drink Tane’s cacao elixir, we invite the medicine into the body & allow ourselves to slow down, soften & listen.
Let the wisdom of Māori tradition guide you into a deeper relationship with the body, the breath & the heart - not through doing, but through presence, feeling & connection.
Together with Breathwave, breath becomes a doorway into sensation & aliveness. Through guided meditation, breath & vibration, we’ll explore what becomes possible when we allow
ourselves to breathe, feel & be fully present.
Beautiful live drumming will hold the rhythm of the journey, bringing us gently into the body & into the present moment.
No need to force anything.
No need to figure anything out.
Just come as you are.
Come breathe.
Come feel.
Come receive.

Facilitator:
Tāne Mahuta Heke is a healer, lineage holder, and artisan of ceremony and stone. Born of Ngāpuhi in Aotearoa, he is descended from chiefs, warriors, healers, and storytellers, carrying their breath in his bones and their prayers in his blood.
His path has traversed oceans, deserts, forests, and mountains, guided by elders and sacred teachers, with the voice of Papatūānuku ever-present beneath his feet. With a heart rooted in ceremony and a life of devotion, he shares his medicine with humility and reverence.
His practice draws on sacred plant and animal medicines and the alchemy of ceremonial cacao. He is a dancer of the 5 Elements, moving spirit through rhythm and prayer, and a facilitator of breathwork, where air becomes prayer. As a craftsman of stone, he shapes earth into offerings of beauty and reverence; as a holder of sacred space, he guides others through thresholds of healing and transformation.
He is also an auricular acupuncturist, tuning the body’s subtle gateways, and a Sundancer, walking the red road, tethered to sky and soil. His medicine bag is vast, yet offered with humility, and each ceremony becomes a thread that reweaves connection to earth, spirit, and the ancient stories written in stone and star.
Tāne walks with reverence for the old songs, the sacred protocols, the unseen realms, and above all, for Mother Earth - the first teacher and the eternal altar.
