An evening of slowing down, awakening the senses, and coming home to the body. What happens when we stop asking the body to perform, and instead begin to listen? In this class, we will move slowly enough to notice the subtle — the breath, the weight of the body, the shifting of sensation, and what the body naturally wants to do from moment to moment.
We will dance alone, and we will meet each other through our bodies. Touch is an essential part of the practice. We will lean, hold, rest, give weight and receive weight. We will explore what happens when one body encounters another — how touch can awaken the senses, soften the nervous system, and remind us that we are not separate.
There is nothing to achieve here.
No right way to move.
Only an invitation to become more available to what is already here.
