New Hampshire native and former Nashville pro musician Ryan Byrne and his trio (a.k.a. Ryan Byrne Band) make their debut performance at Gorham, NH's historic Medallion Opera House on Friday, October 16th at 7:00 PM.Singing and accompanying himself on multiple string instruments, Ryan will be performing both original songs and well-known covers spanning genres from folk to rock to country. He will be joined by veteran NH musicians Chris Peters (guitar / vocals) and Kurt Ekstrom (drums).
Ryan has been performing music professionally for over 30 years in many settings. In Music City and beyond he is most known as the long-time bassist for Nashville singer-songwriter Stephen Cochran, with whom he toured the USA multiple times - as well as an international Armed Forces Entertainment tour, and appeared in several music videos. In his home state of NH, however, Ryan may be most known as the founder, bassist, and co-frontman of the powerpop-punk-rock'n'roll band, Nostalgic Distortion.
