Have your say on the future of transport in Ruyton & Baschurch and across Shropshire!I'm hosting a Drop-In Session on Friday 30th October, 6:15pm - 9:00pm at Baschurch Village Hall to help residents engage with Shropshire Council's emerging Local Transport Plan (LTP).
The Local Transport Plan is the document that helps shape how transport investment and priorities are decided over the coming years. It can influence everything from road safety, speeding and HGV traffic, to bus services, walking and cycling routes, accessibility, rural connectivity and longer-term projects such as Baschurch Station.
This is an opportunity to discuss what matters most to our communities and to help ensure that local transport priorities are strongly represented in the consultation. Whether your concerns relate to speeding through villages, road safety, rural bus services, the condition of local roads, HGV traffic, walking and cycling links, or future rail connections, I would like to hear your views.
The stronger and more coordinated our local response, the better chance we have of shaping transport policy and investment for both Ruyton & Baschurch and Shropshire as a whole.
