Join Rustic Skies, Recess, and Van Arlo at Beachland Tavern on Friday, November 27 for a special candlelight concert celebrating the release of Rustic Skies’ new album, There and Back Again.Rooted in the highs, lows, setbacks, and unexpected beauty of being human, There and Back Again is a collection of songs about finding your way through hard seasons and continuing forward. The candlelight setting reflects the imagery throughout Rustic Skies’ music while creating a more atmospheric experience for the evening.
Rustic Skies is fronted by electric cello and blends elements of indie rock, jazz, funk, and folk. The result are fresh songs built around soulful lyrics, beautiful cello melodies, with the driving and passionate feel of an indie rock band.
Joining Rustic Skies for the evening are Recess, an orchestral synth-pop/alternative band, and Van Arlo, the indie-acoustic project of singer-songwriter Ben Marthey.
