Rural crime has a significant impact on those who live, work and visit our rural areas. It affects livelihoods, confidence and wider feelings of safety, and it is essential that policing continues to work closely with local authorities, landowners, businesses, voluntary organisations and communities to prevent crime, support victims and bring offenders to justice.
The conference will provide an opportunity to share good practice, discuss emerging threats and explore practical ways in which we can continue to improve our collective approach. Your insight and contribution would be very welcome, and I hope you are able to join us for what I am confident will be an informative and valuable event.
Registration will open at 9.30am, with the conference starting at 10.00am. The programme will include an opening introduction from myself, guest speakers, lunch, and an afternoon discussion focused on collaboration to tackle rural crime. The event will close with a closing address at 3.30pm.
