About this Event
What is Run Me My Land Back?
An annual gathering facilitated by the Restorative Justice Institute of Oklahoma centered on cultural activities, creative expression, shared food, storytelling, and meaningful conversation. Participants are invited to explore who they are, where they come from, and how their identities and lineages shape their lives.
Inspired by the Land Back movement, this gathering creates space to honor Indigenous cultures, reflect on the impact of displacement and cultural erasure, and celebrate the strength, wisdom, and traditions carried across generations. Together, we will listen to connect, share our stories, and imagine restoration as a return to identity, culture, community, and belonging.
What to Expect:
- An array of tasty cultural dishes
- Various games, activities, and experiences
- An unforgettable experience of community!
