Run for the Roses Saturdays at BRYAC: third Saturdays, every other month, all through 2027.🌸 The Mystery Train Band returns to BRYAC with the music of the Jerry Garcia Band to celebrate the spring thaw. The ice is gone, the blossoms are out along Fairfield Ave, and the April rain is just one more excuse to come inside and dance.
We play the Garcia/Hunter originals plus the Dylan, Motown, reggae, soul and Band covers Jerry made his own. This one's full of fresh-air tunes: "Mission in the Rain," "Run for the Roses," "They Love Each Other," "Rhapsody in Red" and "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)." A special guest guitarist will be sitting in, so expect some fresh spring sparks on the six-string.
Black Rock, Bridgeport and Fairfield folks, shake off the winter, call your friends and come bloom with us. It's a Saturday night of good vibes and long jams. Music starts at 9:30 PM. 🚂
