About this Event
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a daily walker or just getting started, this weekly Run & Walk Club for All is the perfect way to get your day off to a great start and get you moving!
This program provides a welcoming and supportive community for people of all ages and levels of fitness and ability -- from beginners to experienced athletes. Each week, Coach Elisha will provide a recommended route and game plan that will enable you to get the most out of your journey.
Routes
Bay-to-Bridge-and-Back Route (Distance: 5K/ 3.1 miles) > A Safe Route for All -- runners and walkers alike!... No need to cross busy roads like N. Tamiami Trail!

Stay at The Bay Route (Approx a 30-minute walk in the park - routes vary)
Following your walk or run, keep your heart rate up with Bootcamp Fitness (8:00-8:45am); recover with Namaste at The Bay Yoga (9:00-10:00am); and/or enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Nest Café.
Know Before You Go
- Bring a water bottle.
- Electrolyte tablets will be provided to help you stay hydrated.
- The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.
- The Nest Café will open early if you want to buy bottled water or coffee beforehand.
- Free parking is located along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way and in the Van Wezel parking lot. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas. Click here for parking map
- All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
- Please report any risky or unsafe behavior to the Sarasota Non-Emergency Police 24 hours a day (941) 316-1199.
Coach Elisha is a certified running coach and personal trainer with over a decade of experience helping individuals of all ages and abilities find joy in movement. She has completed 10 half marathons, a full marathon, and multiple sprint triathlons, consistently placing in the top three overall and within her age group in local 5K and 10K races throughout Sarasota. Elisha holds certifications through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) as a personal trainer, running coach, nutritionist, strength and conditioning coach, and performance enhancement specialist. She also studied at the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA) and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion at Purdue Global.
