Intimacy, intensity and cosmic beatsDuring this year’s festival, Rumpistol Ensemble takes over H15 in Vesterbro for an exclusive two-day residency, dissolving the boundaries between jazz, neoclassical, and electronic music.
Following an artistic rebirth with the award-winning piano trilogy Nebula, Rumpistol merges acoustic textures with electronic pulses in a unique visual universe.
Clad in astronaut suits, the quartet balances fragile piano passages with intense, beat-driven explorations.
Both nights, the experience continues as ‘After Hours,’ where Rumpistol and Shatter Hands (Super Bad Disco) take over the decks, spinning everything from groovy jazz and disco to global beats until the early morning.
On Saturday afternoon, the ensemble also offers a special seated concert for a more intimate listening experience.
Line-up:
Jens B. Christiansen (piano, synths), Sven Dam Meinild (sax, woodwinds, synths), Arendse Nordtorp Pedersen (violin), Frederik Bülow (drums).
