When the Moment Comes is a powerful play about resilience, faith, and justice; based on the life and experiences of Ruhi Jahanpour, an Iranian Bahá’í woman who was imprisoned for refusing to renounce her faith. Through Ruhi’s story: When the Moment Comes, explores the resilience and courage of individuals who transcend incarceration, torture, and execution for their beliefs. The production focuses on the lives of those who endured unimaginable hardship, including ten of Ruhi’s cellmates, who were executed by hanging on June 18, 1983.

Nava Sarracino, a Traveling International Theatre Practitioner and Story-teller together with six friends from Seattle will share this powerful story.
