Rugby's front door. 🦁💚Our elementary group (U8 and U10, girls and boys together) trains every Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 to 7:30 PM, at Elkins Pointe Middle School. Practices start the week of October 13 and run through December 10, then pick back up after the holidays.
What it looks like at this age:
🏉 U8 (7 and under): touch only. Hands, running, scoring, no tackling.
🏉 U10 (9 and under): touch first, then tackling taught properly and slowly.
😄 Fun and Fundamentals. Every kid plays. Nobody sits.
Never played? Most of our families started that way. Coaches explain the game as we go and nobody assumes your kid knows what a ruck is.
Want to try before you sign up? Come to the free Open House on Saturday, October 10, 10 AM to 12 PM, at Elkins Pointe. Or just come stand on the sideline at a practice and say hello.
Ready to register: rebelsrugbyga.com/register. Age groups go by how old your kid was on September 1. No kid is ever turned away for cost.
What to bring: cleats or sneakers, water, and a mouthguard for U10 once tackling starts.
