About this Event
RUGBURN
“Denver-based garage-rock band RUGBURN, as the name suggests, leaves you rolling on the carpet in a jittering, psychedelic fit of ecstasy! Like driving down a desert highway on acid, the fuzzed-out trio takes your mind on a Hunter S. Thompson trip, with ripping guitar riffage and a thumping, frenetic rhythm section behind the wheel! Gritty and dripping with reverb, RUGBURN's vocal stylings drape over each hard-hitting tune, guiding your ears along the blissful madness. Oozing with kaleidoscope dreams, RUGBURN is the perfect conduit for the pure, cosmic energy blasting from every corner of the Universe." -Focoma.org
PLASTIC MYSTIC
"Plastic Mystic is a post-punk psych freakout trio based in Denver. Originally formed in late 2022 Plastic Mystic have become familiar faces on the Denver hardcore circuit. As a group they have carved a distinctive niche out of Colorado’s underground music community with a unique synthesis between Fugazi-esque lo-fi haze and the dark mysticism of the early post-punk wave." -KVCU Radio 1190
