🇬🇧 scroll for English!☀️ Dětství na francouzském pobřeží – se sluncem i nádechem temnoty.
👀 Máme velkou radost, že Rudé skály promítneme společně s virtuální diskuzí s renomovaným režisérem Bruno Dumontem! Francouzského filmařského provokatéra můžete znát díky snímkům Twentynine Palms, Janička z Arku nebo France. Online Q&A budou moderovat Marek Čermák a Tomasz Wiński, a to v rámci své pravidelné série ARAS Provokace.
💛 Dvě znepřátelené party, chlapec a dívka z opačných stran a svět, v němž dětské hry postupně začínají připomínat konflikty dospělých. Shakespearovu tragickou vášeň však Bruno Dumont proměňuje v příběh o prvních citech, svobodě a touze někam patřit – bez sentimentu, zato s velkou dávkou humoru, energie a něhy.
🎤 Q&A bude tlumočeno do češtiny.

☀️ A childhood on the French coast – with sunshine and a touch of darkness.
👀 We are delighted to be screening Red Rocks alongside a virtual discussion with the renowned director Bruno Dumont! You may be familiar with this provocative French filmmaker through his films Twentynine Palms, Joan of Arc or France. The online Q&A will be moderated by Marek Čermák and Tomasz Wiński as part of their ARAS Provokace series.
🌊 On the red cliffs above the sea, childhood is measured by courage. Géo and his friends leap from the cliffs into the water until rivalry enters their world, pushing them into something far more dangerous – the world of first feelings.
💛 It is a sun-drenched, childlike variation on Romeo and Juliet. Two rival gangs, a boy and a girl from opposite sides, and a world in which children's games gradually begin to echo the conflicts of adults. Yet Bruno Dumont transforms Shakespeare's tragic passion into a story about first feelings, freedom and the desire to belong – without sentimentality, but with plenty of humour, energy and tenderness.
🎤 Please note that the Q&A will be held IN FRENCH AND CZECH ONLY. The film includes English subtitles.
