U bent van harte uitgenodigd op de laatste dag van het REFUGE paviljoen, de finissage. Wij sluiten dit fijne project graag samen af met een drankje en een concert van Ruben Machtelinckx, Toma Gouband en Nils Økland.
Voor de afsluiter van het paviljoen zoeken we toevlucht in een exclusieve première van een trio dat speciaal voor het REFUGE paviljoen wordt gevormd. Ruben Machtelinckx op gitaar, Nils Økland op een Noorse Hardanger viool en percussionist Toma Gouband met gevonden stenen, planten en natuurlijke materialen gesprokkeld uit het Baron Casier park. De bijzondere architectuur en akoestiek van het paviljoen vormen daarbij niet alleen het decor, maar ook een actieve partner in de muziek. Drie musici met een lange gedeelde geschiedenis, die elkaar ontmoeten in een nieuwe constellatie waar ruimte, klank en observatie centraal staan.

You are warmly invited to the final day of the REFUGE pavilion, the closing event. We would love to bring this wonderful project to a close together with a drink and a concert by Ruben Machtelinckx, Toma Gouband and Nils Økland.
To bring the pavilion’s programme to a close, we turn to an exclusive premiere by a trio formed especially for the REFUGE pavilion. Ruben Machtelinckx on guitar, Nils Økland on a Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, and percussionist Toma Gouband, using found stones, plants and natural materials gathered from Baron Casier Park. The pavilion’s unique architecture and acoustics not only provide the backdrop but also act as an active partner in the music. Three musicians with a long shared history come together in a new constellation where space, sound and observation take centre stage.
