The Phoenix branch of the @RSCDS {Royal Scottish Country Dance Society} has started its Fall Series of Scottish Country Dancing. Attend classes each Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00pm at @Kaleidoscope Dance Space in Mesa! The address is 2848 S Carriage Ln, Mesa, AZ, 85202Certified instructors teach technique and lively set dances. Soft, flexible shoes without a heel (or traditional ghillies) are recommended. Cost is $10/class. This series runs until December 15, resumes January 5, 2027, runs until May 25, then breaks for the summer.
All are welcome. Beginners are encouraged and are welcome EVERY WEEK. Come learn about this fun portion of Scottish heritage. Kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (even if the adult isn't dancing).
