The Royal Marines Band Service Half Marathon enters its 6th year and returns to Devon once again, hosted by the CTC bandAbout this Event
The out and back route along the River Exe is pancake flat and promises stunning scenery.
Starting at Exeter University's Nicholas Bull Boathouse, you will run along the river exe, passing some of the areas most beautiful scenery and wildlife. You will be sure to spot hundreds of deer as you run past the grounds of Powederham Castle as well as a large amount of local birds along the river.
The route's half way and turnaround point is in Starcross where public toilets facilities are available.
