Get into the festive spirit and sing along to your favourite Christmas carols at the magnificent Royal Albert Hall. This historic South Kensington venue, which has hosted the Proms since 1941, offers a truly spectacular setting for this memorable Christmas event. We have also included a river cruise on the Thames, with a 2-course lunch.
We have chosen a hotel in the centre of London, so you can be in the heart of all the festivities and see the Christmas lights at night. ‘Winter by the River’ near Tower Bridge, is a festive market with stalls, seasonal food, and gifts, situated along the River Thames with views of iconic landmarks. The surrounding area offers a selection of fine restaurants and bars.
Day 1
Departing our local area, we journey south with a suitable comfort break, before arriving in London for free time and checking into our hotel. In the evening, we journey to the Royal Albert Hall on our coach, to enjoy the Christmas Carol Concert. Settle in your seats, in this spectacular setting, enjoy a mix of traditional and modern festive favourites with an orchestra, choir, soloist and, of course, plenty of sing-along moments and fun to enjoy a magical evening of Christmas carols and unforgettable memories. Afterwards, we will re-join our coach for the return journey back to our hotel.
Day 2
This morning after a leisurely breakfast, we have free time before our river cruise, relax in the hotel enjoying your surroundings or take a stroll and admire the nearby landmarks. Our river cruise departs from the Tower Pier, as you step aboard, delight in a sumptuous 2-course lunch featuring a diverse range of dishes made with the finest ingredients, all while enjoying panoramic views of landmarks such as the Tower Bridge, the Shard, and the London Eye. Relax in the comfort of the vessel, complete with large panoramic windows offering unobstructed views of the city. Friendly and attentive staff ensures your comfort and enjoyment throughout the cruise, adding a touch of warmth to the ambiance. Enhancing your experience further, the captains provide insightful commentary, sharing expert knowledge, highlighting the intriguing history and landmarks you'll encounter along the route. And let's not forget the fully stocked bar on board, offering a variety of beverages available to purchase to complement your meal. After our cruise, we re-join the coach for the return journey, with suitable comfort breaks, en-route to arrive home later in the evening.
