Row Don’t Drift has been selected into the Silicon Valley Asian. Tickets are $20 for Seniors, Veterans and Students, and also $25 for General Admission. 🎟️ Row Don't Drift is a historical documentary featured film directed by Karina Ezitis Turner. It tells the true story of Yoshi Kubo, a Japanese American farmer from California who was forcibly evicted from his land during World War II and placed in an internment camp in Amache, Colorado. Faced with the choice to serve in the military or go to prison, Kubo took a principled stand. He refused to submit to combat duty—arguing he could best serve the war effort by farming under an agricultural deferment. Consequently, he was incarcerated in a federal prison in Arizona.
