About this Event
Murky Waters Studio invites artists working in any media to participate in ROTTEN, an exhibition inspired by the weird and wonderful, the truly disgusting and all sorts of oddities that you may have wanted to make gross art about. Think moldy still life paintings, squished cane toads, decay portraits, finding beauty in the macabre, and anything rotten to the core.
Want in? Register by getting a $25 ticket and completing the requested information ( name, artwork title, date, medium, size & price). Deliver the physical works to Murky Waters Studio on Sunday 27 September between 9 am - 12 pm. We'll hang the show! Then join us for the offical launch on Friday 2 October from 5:30pm.
We would love your drawings, paintings, sculptures, knitwear, prints, ready-mades and any other creative output that loosely addresses the theme. Get involved and be inspired by the fun and grotesque; and help us pay our public liability insurance.
