Rosebery Primary School is proud to present Villains’ Got Talent, a whole-school production featuring students from Transition to Year 6.For one unforgettable evening, a colourful collection of storybook, fantasy and pop-culture-inspired villains will take over the stage to compete for the ultimate title. Each contestant believes they possess the talent, style and villainous flair needed to impress the judges and win the competition.
Hosted by an unusually elegant and delightfully eccentric family, the show moves through a lively program of music, dance, comedy and theatrical spectacle. Audiences will meet magical mischief-makers, fearsome pirates, wickedly fashionable characters, creatures of the night and other ambitious villains, each supported by an ensemble of Rosebery Primary School performers.
The production includes performances from every year level, together with featured student actors, dancers and members of the school’s performing arts ensembles. Students have contributed to the production through acting, singing, dance, design and backstage roles.
Behind the comic competition lies a celebration of student confidence, creativity and collaboration. Villains’ Got Talent gives students the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre, contribute to a large-scale shared project and experience the excitement of bringing a story to life for their families and community.
With energetic choreography, imaginative costumes, familiar music and plenty of theatrical surprises, Villains’ Got Talent promises an entertaining and family-friendly evening.
