Course Description:
Rope Tech Plus is an advanced, scenario-driven rope rescue course designed to challenge rescuers beyond the foundational technician level. This program focuses on complex access, patient packaging, edge transitions, trackline operations, highline systems, and problem-solving under realistic field conditions.
The course emphasizes the application of rope rescue principles in difficult and unconventional environments, including towers, over-water incidents, suspended patients, industrial-style obstacles, and confined or limited-access rescue situations.
This training is intended for personnel who have already completed a state-recognized Rope Rescue Technician program or equivalent departmental rope rescue training.
