🤠 Rope Night is Every Thursday at The Happy Ruth Ranch in Kelowna!With the days getting shorter we have decided to move our Rope Night start time to 6:30 PM.
Join us every Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM for a fun and supportive evening with our fantastic cowboy coaches, Brad Whittaker and Gerry Dalen.
Whether you are brand new to roping or looking to improve your skills, Rope Night is a great place to learn, practice, and meet other riders.
Here’s how the evening works:
Participants hauling in or renting one of our horses arrive at 6:00 PM to groom, tack up, and be ready for our 6:30 PM start.
From 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, everyone practices on the ground, learning rope handling, swings, throws, and catches using a variety of roping dummies.
At 7:30 PM, riders mount up and warm up their horses. One of our coaches then pulls a roping dummy behind a quad. Riders who are ready can practice roping from horseback, while others continue building their horsemanship skills by tracking the dummy and learning how to position their horse correctly.
Rates
• $20 – Ground Only
• $30 – Haul In
• $40 – Student Horse Rental
• $60 – Regular Horse Rental
