About this Event
Roots and Migrations is born from the story of Demian and Dylan Baraldi, Italian brothers and musicians of Chinese heritage, who grew up between different cultures, languages, and countries.
With Roots and Migrations, the Duo returns to China, transforming a journey back to their roots into an exploration of what it means to belong to more than one place at the same time.
At the heart of the project are the stories and music of those who, like the two brothers, have crossed borders, cultures, identities, and eras to tell something deeply human: the longing for what we have left behind, the discovery of what we encounter along the way, and the desire to find, wherever we are, a place we can call home.
