Womenโs Stress Series for Female-Identifying Adults
Exhausted. Overthinking. Carrying too much. Your body knows the story before your mind does. Letโs listen together.
Rooted and Rising is a 12-session series designed to help women notice, understand, and regulate stress responses in daily life. Each session is standalone, so you can attend one or many.
Through embodied awareness, nervous system education, and practical tools, we explore how stress shows up in the body โ and how to respond with curiosity, compassion, and choice.
This workshop focuses on:
- ๐ธ Stress awareness โ understanding your bodyโs messages
- ๐ง Nervous system literacy โ noticing tension, overwhelm, and fatigue
- ๐ Self-compassion โ responding to yourself with care, not criticism
If you feel drained, overextended, or weighed down by responsibilities, this space is for you.

Each session includes:
- Grounding & Arrival โ settle in, feel safe, orient to the space
- Accessible Nervous System Education โ learn why your stress responses make sense
- Embodied & Creative Exploration โ movement, journaling, drawing, or guided reflection
- Practical Tools โ simple techniques to use anytime, anywhere
- Reflection & Integration โ consolidate learning and apply insights to your daily life

Who is this for?
Adult women of all ages who want to understand stress, connect with their bodies, and build practical, everyday tools. No prior experience required.
Is this therapy or group counseling?
No. This is a skills-based, psychoeducational workshop. While it may feel therapeutic, it is not therapy, and you are never required to share personal history.
Iโm nervous about attending a group.
Thatโs normal! You can participate quietly, observe, or join fully โ your pace, your choice. The space is safe, low-pressure, and professionally held.
Do I have to share?
No. Sharing is optional. Exercises invite reflection but verbal participation is always your choice.
Do I need to bring anything?
Optional: journal, sketchbook, or creative materials, though materials will be provided.
Am I too old or too young?
If you identify as a woman, youโre welcome. This space is inclusive of all adult ages.
Iโm in therapy โ is this okay?
Yes. This can complement personal therapy, but is not a substitute for individual or crisis support.
Who facilitates this workshop?
๐ฉโโ๏ธ This workshop is led by an HCPC-registered therapist with specialist experience in trauma, stress, and nervous system regulation. The session is professionally guided, safe, and psychologically informed, designed to be reflective and restorative without requiring disclosure.

Eve Howard (she/her) is a Dramatherapist from South East London. She teaches movement on a therapy training programme and is a Movement Medicine Apprentice Teacher. Eve's areas of expertise include neurodivergence, trauma, and the transformative potential of embodied practice. Find out more about Eve here.
