About this Event
Grow skills. Build connections. Strengthen community.
Join us at Bodi Buzz & Rooted Legacy Urban Farm for Rooted & Connected, an every-other-Thursday gathering bringing neighbors, Black-owned businesses, educators, and community partners together around the fire.
Each evening explores a different part of everyday life—from growing food and maintaining a healthy home to wellness, financial stability, safety, and entrepreneurship. Through practical demonstrations, guided conversations, and meaningful introductions, you’ll discover skills, resources, and relationships you can build on beyond the event.
Rooted in our vision for community self-sustainability and local ownership, this series is about sharing what we know, finding what we need, and creating opportunities together.
What to expect
- A rotating topic led by a featured educator or community partner.
