Cyclocross is coming to Root River! Join the Sault Cycling Club on Sunday, October 25 for a fun fall day of racing, riding and hanging out.Whether you’re a seasoned racer, giving cyclocross a try for the first time or bringing the kids out for some fun, everyone is welcome! Expect a fast, fun course with all the things that make cyclocross great – grass, dirt, twists, turns, obstacles and plenty of opportunities to cheer.
Not racing? Come out anyway! Grab some food from the Root, cheer on the riders and enjoy a great day with the cycling community.
🏁 Race Schedule
10:00 AM — Registration opens
10:00–10:45 AM — Course pre-ride
11:00 AM — B Race — 35 minutes
11:45 AM — Kids Race — Ages 12 & under, approximately 15 minutes
12:20 PM — A Race — 55 minutes
1:30 PM+ — Awards & hanging out 🏆
The Kids Ride will feature a shorter, beginner-friendly course designed specifically for riders 12 and under. It’s all about getting kids on bikes and having fun!

You must be a Sault Cycling Club member to participate. Memberships can be bought here.
Kids under 12 are free to join but must also be SCC members.

Register early and save! Pre-registration gets you the best price and helps us plan for race day.
🏆 Categories
General classification will be awarded in both the A and B races:
• Men’s
• Women’s
• Masters — Open 50+
• U18 — Open
If there are enough U18 participants, the category may be separated into boys and girls.
Medals will be awarded to the top three riders in each category. 🥇🥈🥉
