ROOM TO BREATHE 🌿Sometimes healing doesn't begin with talking.
Sometimes it begins with having a safe place to simply breathe, move, pause, and be.
Throughout October, The Sonrisa Foundation and Love Move Breathe are offering a free four-week series of trauma-informed gentle yoga, as part of Sonrisa's Community of Light for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The series was created for people who may not feel comfortable in a traditional yoga class or who simply want to explore how gentle movement can support healing after difficult or traumatic experiences.
This is not about flexibility.
It isn't about doing the poses “right.”
And you never have to push yourself beyond what feels comfortable.
You are always in charge of your practice.
Every movement is an invitation—not a command. You can move, stay still, rest, keep your eyes open, close them, sit, lie down, or simply breathe.
There are no hands-on adjustments. No pressure. No judgment.
Just a predictable, gentle space to notice what your body needs and give yourself permission to listen.
The class is designed and led by Kinsey Anderson of Love Move Breathe, using the principles of trauma-informed yoga.
There's space for you here. Come breathe with us.
