Concluding our Room at the Table sermon series, in our services this Sunday we are exploring 'A Church that Makes Room'.At Emmaus, Jesus enters the home of the disciples as the stranger and guest but, at the table, takes bread, blesses it, breaks it and gives it.
The guest becomes the host, and Christian belonging carries the same possibility - those who have been welcomed discover that they too have gifts through which others can belong. Christ calls us to follow, and leads us into participation in his mission and ministry.
Whoever you are, wherever you are from, you are welcome here.
