What are the culinary delights of East End past and present? Ranging from Cockney culture, like traditional pie & mash, to a melting pot of diverse cultures. From classic comfort foods to modern interpretations shaped by generations of migration and creativity, guests are invited to bring a dish that represents what the East End means to them. This shared table is about storytelling through food—honouring heritage, diversity, and the spirit of togetherness that defines the East End.
Extraordinary Food Competition: Saturday, February 21st 2026, 6pm - 7:30pm
Extraordinary Food Competition is a playful event celebrating the everyday foods we grow up with that might surprise others. Guests are invited to bring a dish that is ordinary in their own culture but may seem extraordinary to others, then share the histories behind them. Through friendly competition, tasting, and conversation, we’ll discover how culture shapes our ideas of normal, delicious, and surprising—ending the night by crowning the most extraordinary dish of all.
