About this Event

🛼 Roller Skate Jam Academy – Improvers & Intermediate Masterclasses

This series is for skaters who are ready to level up

Roller Skate Jam Academy is a curated set of style-led roller skate masterclasses designed for improver and intermediate skaters who already have the basics and want to develop confidence, technique, rhythm, and personal expression on skates.

Each session explores a different skate style, led by experienced coaches, in a focused but supportive learning environment. These are not casual socials, they are intentional, skill-building masterclasses for skaters who want to progress 🚀

👥 Who This Is For

This programme is for skaters who:

  • Can skate forwards comfortably
  • Can stop safely
  • Feel stable and in control on skates
  • Want to push beyond the basics and improve technique or style

You don’t need to be advanced or professional — just confident enough to move independently and ready to challenge yourself 💪🏾

🚫 Who This Is NOT For

These sessions are not Learn to Skate classes.

They are not suitable for:

  • First-time skaters
  • Complete beginners
  • Anyone who feels unstable, fearful, or unable to move confidently on skates

This Masterclass series is about progression, not first steps.

🕺🏾 Saturday 22 March

Line Dance Skate Workshop
Coach: Fiz

A rhythm-focused workshop introducing line dance–inspired footwork patterns 🎶
The session begins off skates to help skaters lock in timing and coordination, with the option to explore movements on skates later if time allows and the group feels comfortable.

This is the most accessible session in the series, ideal for improver skaters who want structure, rhythm, and confidence in a fun, supportive way

Please note: this is still not a beginner or Learn to Skate session.
